The End of Our Summer Break

We went to CDO and Bukidnon last month for a quick vacation before we resume our son’s regular schedule of classes (Kindermusik and Lozada Swimming School) and to celebrate my birthday as well. ๐Ÿ™‚ Unlike our previous trips, this one is something that I really needed – to take a break from all the things that requires my attention at home and at work. Though I’m not complaining, it’s just that it is so mentally and physically draining sometimes that all you want is to breathe some fresh air and scream hello to the world.

I’m never too busy to plan for an out-of-town trip, but last few month’s schedule is too much for me to handle that everything else has to wait for a while… good thing, we have friends who got everything covered for us. ๐Ÿ™‚

First, a friend booked our hotel. ๐Ÿ™‚

Then, Ate Helen (my brother-in-law’s Sister) met us at the airport and took care of our first day itinerary.

I’m sure you can see the reason behind those huge grin. ๐Ÿ˜‰

They’ve got the best sirloin steak here, I swear. ๐Ÿ™‚

and countless pineapples.

Also, we got a very reliable chauffeur. Kuya Sandro may not be the best driver you can find there, but he’s kind, patient and cool. ๐Ÿ™‚ He drove us all the way to Dahilayan Forest Park despite all the road constructions and off-road re-routing.

Finally. Yey!

Lastly, a fellow homeschooling family met us and the little boys had an instant play date.

Thanks Babols. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope to see you next summer CDO-Bukidnon. ๐Ÿ™‚
